Iperal, an Italian retailer with 36 stores in Lombardy, expressed the need to have more insights on how its clients approach the different digital touch-points in order to collect data, statistics, behaviours and habits. We started the journey by building an online presence that is consistent with modern trends and supported by a platform which enables the evolution of the new digital ecosystem of Iperal. The retail company will now be able to reap the first important results thanks to the introduction of contextual marketing features.

Almost half of companies fail in taking a scientific approach to technology investment. An approach very much needed in order to build a solid business case for investing in new technology like Machine Learning & Personalization. The absence of a business case is a key reason for lack of investment in digital strategy, along with poor boardroom understanding and the perception of digital as tactical. CMO's are widely responsible for building the business case for technology investment but how can they do more to quantify the benefits of this new technology.
