The Grock Foundation

The Association's goal is to promote fund raising for the creation of a Foundation named after Grock, by creating awareness about the Artist's figure and works, through events and initiatives in Italy and abroad, amongst the public and the national, regional and local public institutions.

The primary objective of the Foundation is the acquisition and the successive restoration of the property called Villa Bianca, situated in Imperia, and Adrien Wettach's (in art Grock) last residence, in co-operation with other Institutions and with the help of specific Community funds.

The complex, once restored, will be destined to the following activities:

Clown and Circus Art Museum;
Permanent instruction centre for Clowns and entertainment characters;
Site for conventions, meetings, and events of cultural, scientific, cultural content;
Historical archives of Maritime tradition and of the Old Yacht Meeting (Raduno delle Vele d'Epoca).

In order to reach the above mentioned goals, the Foundation needs funds and for this reason, whatever size it may be, a contribution is welcome from everybody who loves art, entertainment and culture.

The fund raising happens through direct contribution from the public and through the following actions promoted by the Association:

- production and sale of publications on the life and figure of the Artist;
- cultural events ( Clown Festival and other exhibitions);
- production and sale of gadgets with the image of Grock.
